Had done my speed test at www.speedtest.net with Singapore server results are as follows
Had done my speed test with US server at New York and the results are follows.
These two results are way apart from each other FYI, many of the servers or websites that we access are in U.S like Facebook, Youtube, Yahoo and many others although some will have their routing traffic in Singapore which helps to increase speed to the particular website but does not give significant improvement. This is something the Singtel should improve on I am very much concerned especially when playing my xBox with US (which has the most number of xBox players) the connection is very bad that i quit 8 out of 10 games due to poor connection.
I believe this will be same with Starhub users not sure what will improve with Starhub's new partnership for undersea cables read more here.
I hope ISP's will work on bridging this huge gap in connection speed from Singapore and US servers.
